Just the cheapest one out there with a Apple M1 Max and 32GB of RAM, running MacOS Ventura 13.1 Draw Things for macOS Fortunately my Mac Studio could achieve way more than I expected. When Stable Diffusion and Dall-E were introduced, I thought this was only for people with a decent video card in their computer. I was blown away that this actually ran locally on iOS.ĭraw Things generating an image via AI on iOS When installed, it downloads the models and off you go. Instead of a cloud service, these AI images were generated on my iPhone!. Outpainting - You provide a source image and tell the AI what it should draw outside of the source image boundaries.Īfter some time a friend introduced me to Draw Things This was a special app.Inpainting - You mask a part of the image and tell the AI what to draw in that masked section.Image to Image - You provide a source image and tell the AI what you would like to see on the generated image.Text to Image - You write in text what you want the AI to draw.I have not used iResizer yet because I have been trying to figure out where to put the serial number. In this article I will use some terms regarding AI image generation: ![]() I would recommend the Inpaint to anyone that deals with photos on a daily basis and those that like to clean up those vacation photos that would be perfect if that one tourist or object wasn't messing it up. It is not perfect but for quick things its great and takes less time than firing up Photoshop. Inpaint is a pretty good tool to have if you deal with photos a lot be it personal or professional. The manual purchasing from here is not in English but the manual link from the purchase at the app store is however it is a different version (4.4) but given I am a geek I usually do not require a manual. I have uninstalled and downloaded and reinstalled several times and still can not find anywhere to install the serial number in iResizer. I downloaded Inpaint and iResizer and was able to install the serial number in Inpaint but can not find where to install the serial number for iResizer. I followed the link to the app store from the developers site as it is much easier to install from there.Ĭontacted the developer with no response so I came back here and purchased the special here for Inpaint &iResizer for $14.99 so I wasted $14.99 at the app store. I purchased from the app store today for $14.99 and its version 4.4 not the 4.5 the website has listed. It gets better: according to the "Get Info" window for the just-installed app the version is not 4.7 (the one whose Icons initiated the download/install process) but 4.5ĭeveloper-are you getting any of this? As a result there were not one but two Inpaint icons in the applications folder. So I installed the *only* choice of versions from that page (again, no assistance from the app or vendor's site to denote upgrade policy).ĭuring the installation mode I noticed there hadn't been the alert of whether I wished the current install to replace or not an existing one. The system requirements on the web page also clearly stated that 10.6 was needed as minimum. I had the Pro version 4.4 on my Snow Leopard MBP. While inconvenient enough that the app offers no built-in, intuitive way to retrieve updates (much less invoke the download/install process) that I could find, their website clearly shows version 4.7 to be the most current. While not typically as critical in reviews I'm making an exception to this one.
